Pip arrived at Madison's Meadow a very sick goat exhibiting a multitude of symptoms of illness. Her breeder sent her to us this way without giving us any clue ahead of time that she was not healthy. When we contacted the breeder we were told of many sick goats at that property and when we asked about returning or exchanging her we were called many nasty names. We have learned a valuable lesson of no longer doing business with this herd. Nor will we show at any shows this herd attends due to health concerns. We had a lot of medical intervention on this little girl and she never obtained satisfactory health. She was compromised by the apparent poor care during the first three months of her life. We hope no one else has to learn a heart sickening lesson like this one. |
